Emergency Plan for Reassigning Colonial Students

Pelham School District officials said the emergency plan for reassigning Colonial School students to other schools will be in effect through at least Friday, Nov. 13.

Here is the text of the plan released by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Dennis Lauro and Colonial School Principal Dr. Janet Rothstein:

The Pelham School District would lose a projected $383,000 in state aid for the current year, if Governor Paterson’s two year plan to close a $5 billion budget gap is approved by the State Legislature.
